The District 2.0 originally started as a project for a New Media class at San Jose State University. Both this website and the blog is maintained by myself, an SJSU Journalism major. The purpose of the project is to shed light on how Technology and Politics are becoming more and more linked together. I feel that this in an important issue to discuss because it Politics becomes more linked into technology, regular people will be able to exercise more influence over the political process.
